Museum of American Illustration

Here I am in front of one of my pieces that is up right now in the annual exhibition at the Museum of American Illustration at the Society of Illustrators on East 63rd street in Manhattan. The work will be published in their next annual book.  It’s an honor to be in this show, as it’s kind of like a yearly “academy awards” for illustrators.

I have two pieces in the show this year, both were created for Easton Press’ new version of “1984” by George Orwell. The book was beautifully produced and designed by Michael Hendricks and Michael Baldyga, who both did a wonderful job on the design and production of this limited edition collectors item.

In the next photo is Danielle Demico, the director of the Juxtapose Gallery, who came to the opening with her son.  Thanks so much for coming guys!

The show and opening were wonderful.  Thanks everybody!”
